Meet My name is Moon!

Moon is not at all a talented Spanish-language music phenomenon, but she is, in fact, literally a bad bunny. Some of her reputation may be deserved, but in her defense she is just very direct in her rabbit-language communication style! Moon does not like to be picked up or to feel like she’s cornered, and she simply will not tolerate being around other rabbits or children. She’s a confident, explorer-minded rabbit who is happiest when she has plenty of room to stretch out, hop around at her own pace, and the freedom to retreat to a little safe space when she just needs a moment to herself. Moon appreciates people who go slow with her and earn her trust – by giving her treats and by not picking her up – and once you’re in the in crowd with her then she’ll start to show you her softer side. Her secret: she actually loves to be petted and told how pretty and wonderful she is. The toughness is mostly an act… mostly.To help give you and Moon time to see if she’s a good fit for your family, she’s eligible for a two-week Adoption Audition! An Adoption Audition is a 14-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff. Moon is located at our Michael R.
